Well done to the 100 for ONE walkers!
Well done to the 100 for ONE walkers!

Determined walkers have completed the Kintyre Way in memory of much beloved Borders farmer Neil Stewart.

The “100 for ONE” walkers triumphantly reached the finish line at Machrihanish.

Friends and family of Neil took on the challenge to raise awareness and funds for RSABI, founded as the Royal Scottish Agricultural Benevolent Institution, which provides emotional, practical and financial support to people in Scottish agriculture.

At the finish, participants formed a heartfelt guard of honour to welcome the Stewart family over the line – a fitting tribute after their emotional and inspiring journey.

So far an amazing £72,643 has been raised - from an original target of £25,000 - by 1095 supporters.

“Well done and much love to you all!” said one organiser, capturing the amazing spirit of solidarity and community that defined the trek.

RSABI has supported Scottish agricultural communities for decades, and fundraising initiatives such as this ensure its vital work can continue for those who need it most.
