The Kintyre Way

The Kintyre Way - Campbeltown

Join our workshops and help shape a fresh future

As we move ahead with bold steps for shaping a fresh future for the Kintyre Way, we’re asking anyone interested in our popular long-distance walking route to come along and enjoy a series of local consultation workshops.

This project, led by SCOTO (Scottish Community Tourism), has been made possible thanks to £10,000 grant funding from the Fern Cour Community Windfarm Trust.

SCOTO has already been in positive discussions across Kintyre and beyond and these will culminate in nine workshops to more closely engage with local communities.

Perhaps you’d like to hear ideas or share your thoughts about what we can do differently in terms of tourism and community life?

The events welcome guests from 10 am, with the workshops from 10.30 am - 12.30 pm followed by a working lunch. The Machrihanish event welcomes guests with a light supper at 5.50 pm, with its workshop taking place from 6.30 pm – 8.30 pm.

The workshops will take place in the following locations.
